MOMENT TO REFLECT

The Almighty has created the Universe in Perfect Harmony and the Mankind is the most honoured of His creations. The Best of His Blessings is the Guidance He sent through His Messengers which gives us an ethical system to live in peace and harmony with fellow human beings in particular and with the other living beings in general. Disconnect from the Creator and moving away from the Guidance has led to material taking precedence over spiritual in our lives and has led to moral decay; this has bereft us of all goodness in life.

TIME TO ACT

We, from the Medical fraternity, are doubly blessed as The Almighty has not only bestowed on us Islam but also chosen us to relieve the suffering of our fellow brothers and sisters. Our Salvation lies in shaping our lives according to the Guidance of The Almighty and we should serve as catalyst of change in society We should contribute to the evolution of a value based and healthy society. We need to adapt ethical practices and educate healthcare professionals and workers in what is ethical practice and what is not To achieve these ends we have to formulate ethical practice standards and also plan low cost alternatives to realize our goal of providing affordable, accessible, cost-effective and quality medical services.

MEDICAL SERVICE SOCIETY

Medical Service Society is a NGO affiliated with Human Welfare Foundation. It is established to work in the field of Health Care with an emphasis on Professional and Ethical Practices. The main motto behind the striving services of MSS is “Service to Humanity is Worship to Almighty”. It also hand hold with various partners during normal as well as at times of natural and manmade calamities to cater to the emergency medical needs of the affected victims.

1. To inculcate among Medical Professionals, a sense of their relation with the Creator, the Great Healer and motivate them to meet their social responsibilities in an ethical manner.
2.To provide academic / professional, and value based ethical training to those associated with MSS.
3.To create health awareness and need of healthy lifestyle among people and to provide medical services to the needy.
4.To formulate competent multi-speciality medical teams to carry out disaster relief work and other community health projects.
5.To strive against all unethical and exploitative trends in the medical sector and to offer recommendations to the Govt.in framing Medical Policies based on people’s need.
6.To build good relationship &co-operate with Government and Non-Governmental Agencies working for affordable and ethical medical services.
